The so-called “water recycling technology” is the applied treatment procedure to achieve the purpose of repetitive use of water resources, to increase the application of recycled water, and to meet the water quality in the wastewater treatment technology. It is one of the main ways to develop emerging water resources.
Water recycling technology treats industrial wastewater effectively by continuous filtration to meet the water quality standard for water recycle and reuse. In addition to achieving sustainable use of water resource, it can reduce the environmental impact of the effluent, thus reinforcing environmental protection. The continuous membrane filtration system uses a hollow fiber ultra-filtration membrane as the core treatment unit to treat wastewater by letting it pass through the membrane surface at a constant speed. Driven under a certain pressure, the water molecular passes through the membrane and those suspended substances, colloids, large molecular organic substances and microorganisms are filtered out, achieving the clarifying and separating purposes. In the ultra-filtration process, driven under pressure, wastewater flows through the membrane surface. Those molecular solutes smaller than the membrane pores will pass the membrane and become purified solution (filtered solution). Those solutes larger than the membrane pores are filtered out and are discharged with water flow. The ultra-filtration process is a dynamic process. Separation is completed in the flowing state. The solutes are only limited to settle on the membrane surface. When the ultra-filtration speed decreases to a certain extent, the filtration process is balanced. The membrane can be recovered after washing.
